Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly in the app, or request deletion by email — no app installation required.

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent. All routes and personal information will be removed and cannot be recovered.

What gets deleted

Email address and display name
All saved routes
Usage data linked to your account

Option 1 — Delete from within the app

Open MakeRoutes → tap your profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Send us your account email address from the address linked to your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

💡 Deleting from within the app is faster — it takes effect immediately without waiting for a manual review.

Data retention: MakeRoutes charges nothing and processes no payments, so no financial or tax records are generated. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before it does. Anonymised, non-identifiable analytics may be retained indefinitely.
