Delete your data

There is no account to delete — MakeRoutes does not use accounts. Your routes live on your device; this page is for anything our servers hold about your device.

⚠️ Your routes are not stored on our servers, so there is nothing here to recover — clearing your device's data or uninstalling the app removes them permanently.

What gets deleted

Your routes, on your device

Your routes are saved only on your device. There is no account. Our server keeps an anonymous copy of route calculations for up to 30 days, linked to nothing. To remove your routes, clear the app's data or uninstall MakeRoutes.

Request deletion of server-held data

Email us with the approximate dates you used MakeRoutes and your public IP address (search "what is my IP"), which is what our counters are keyed by, and we will delete them within 30 days. Device-attestation records cannot be matched to you and delete themselves within 60 days of your last use.

Data retention: MakeRoutes charges nothing and processes no payments, so no financial or tax records are generated. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before it does. Anonymised, non-identifiable analytics may be retained indefinitely.
