Tap the search bar at the top of the screen and type an address or place name. Select the result to add it as a stop. You can add up to 5 stops per route.
Once you've added at least 2 stops, tap the Optimize button. MakeRoutes will calculate the most efficient order for your stops, minimizing total travel time and distance.
After optimizing your route, tap the navigation button on the map to open the route in Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation.
MakeRoutes is completely free. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions — every feature is available at no cost.
You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app: go to your profile and tap Delete Account. You can also request account deletion by emailing us at support@makeroutes.com.
An internet connection is required to search for addresses and to optimize routes. The map tiles may be partially cached for offline viewing, but full offline functionality is not currently supported.
Location access is optional and only used when you tap "Use my location" to add your current position as a stop. MakeRoutes does not track your location in the background.
